Marlee Frances Young earned her Bachelor of Applied Sciences, cum laude, in hospitality management with an art minor in May 2020 from The University of Mississippi. During her four years in Oxford, Marlee Frances served in several campus and organizational leadership positions where she learned the art of networking and the importance of diversity and inclusion.
She served as an Ole Miss recruiter (selected in her freshman fall), summer JumpStart counselor, was selected as one of two students to help select the 2018 Ole Miss Common Reading Experience, and became her sorority’s recruitment chair at a time when rush rules were changing drastically on the historic campus. She and her team led her chapter to one of its most successful recruitments to date. Marlee Frances was awarded several Ole Miss scholarships as well as a coveted national scholarship by her Greek organization.
While at Ole Miss, Marlee Frances developed a design and personal branding practice to assist fellow collegiate students and recent graduates with materials, interviewing skills, and networking for internships and job seeking. The summer so of 2020, she expanded her business to assist young women navigating Panhellenic recruitment.
Currently attending Auburn University, Marlee Frances is pursuing a combination bachelor’s and master’s degree in interior design with a focus in hospitality design.
Marlee Frances is inspired by making people from all over the world feel comfortable and included in the spaces she designs. Incorporating her degree in hospitality, she has always felt her calling to design welcoming, cozy spaces with a modern twist. Not only are the client’s ideas pushed further to create an impactful and original design, a partnership with Marlee Frances will last a lifetime, making the design process one of ease.
